(01) What we do
Two Specialties. One Contractor.
Most jobs require two companies. Lakeside handles both remediation and rebuilding. We handle water or fire damage first, then rebuild affected areas from drywall to the final coat of paint.

Mold · Licensed
Mold Remediation
Inspection, containment, removal, and verification, typically in 3 to 5 days, with a written scope and a price range before work starts.

Rebuild · GC licence
Reconstruction
Framing, drywall, cabinetry, flooring, and paint, with permits and inspections handled for you and a walkthrough at the end.

Water · 24/7
Water Damage Restoration
Our team removes the water, dries what can be saved, and replaces what cannot, with readings to prove it.

Fire · Smoke · Odor
Fire and Smoke Damage
Smoke and soot cleanup and odor removal come first, then the structural repairs and rebuild.
Plus storm & flood cleanup, sewage cleanup, mold testing, smoke odor removal and insurance claim rebuilds.

(04) How it works
From Mold to Fresh Paint
01
Inspect
Moisture readings identify where the water is coming from, followed by a written scope.
02
Contain
Sealed containment and air filtration protect the rest of your home during removal.
03
Verify
Post-remediation verification confirms the mold is gone, with paperwork you keep for your records.
04
Rebuild
The same licensed company rebuilds the room, then walks through the finished work with you.

(05) Insurance
Insurance and Documentation
An adjuster can only review what was recorded. Lakeside photographs and logs each stage as the work moves along, so the file is complete when someone asks for it.
The file holds dated photos, moisture readings, and the scope in writing, and the adjuster can call your project lead with any questions.
Coverage depends on your policy and your carrier's decision. Lakeside documents the loss and works with your adjuster; it does not decide coverage.

FAQ
Common Questions About Lakeside Restoration and Reconstruction
Will the rebuild match the rest of my home?
Yes, and it is one reason to have the same company rebuild after the cleanup. The crew matches the existing drywall texture, trim, flooring, and paint as closely as the materials allow, and samples are shown for approval before anything goes up. If an exact match is not possible, such as a discontinued floor, the options are explained first.
Can wet drywall and flooring be saved?
Often, if it is dried quickly. Materials that stay wet for long, such as carpet padding and insulation, usually have to come out. Moisture readings show which can stay and which have to go.
Can you work with my insurance company?
Yes, Lakeside prepares photos, notes, and a written scope your adjuster may ask for. Your insurer decides what is covered, so coverage cannot be guaranteed.
How much does mold remediation cost?
It depends on how much area is affected, how hard it is to reach and what is causing the moisture. After the assessment, you get a written price range before any work starts.
How can I get rid of smoke smell after a fire?
The smell comes from soot and residue on every surface, so cleaning comes first. Lakeside specialists clean the walls, ductwork, and fabric, then treat the air and materials. Porous items that will not come clean may need replacing.
How will I know the mold is actually gone?
Independent verification confirms the result, and the report is yours to keep. If an assessor wrote the protocol for your home, Lakeside follows it and shares the results with them.
What should I do first if I think I have mold?
Leave it untouched, and close the door to that room if you can. Scrubbing, bleaching, or running a fan over it can move the problem into other rooms. Take some pictures, note the date you first saw it, and reach out. If you already have an assessor’s report, send that too. A short description and one picture are enough to understand what to do next.
Are you licensed, and can I look it up?
Yes, Lakeside is a state-licensed certified general contractor and a state-licensed mold remediator, and it is also IICRC-certified and an EPA RRP contractor. Both state licenses can be checked on the state’s license lookup, and the numbers are listed in the footer of every page.
