(06) FAQ

Frequently
Asked
Questions

Do I need to be home for the assessment?

Someone should be there to let us in and show us the areas you are concerned about. It does not have to be the property owner. A tenant, property manager, or realtor can meet us on site if they know the property.

What should I send or have ready?

The address, which rooms are affected, and when you first noticed the problem. Photos help. If an insurance claim is open or an assessor has already visited, tell us and send their report if you have it.

Should I do anything before you arrive?

Please do not try to remove mold yourself, because disturbing it can spread it to other parts of the home. If you can do it safely, stop the source of water, such as a leaking pipe or an overflowing appliance, and take photos of the affected areas.

Is the mold assessment free?

The assessment visit and the written estimate are free. If you decide to go ahead, the estimate shows the full scope and cost before any work starts.

Do you work with property managers and commercial properties?

Yes, besides residential properties, we work with hotels, medical facilities, and property management firms. Use the form above and tell us the property type, the timeline, and any access or scheduling limits we should plan around.
